U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Donald C. Roberts, a recruiter with Recruiting Sub-station Lakewood and a Monterey, Calif. native, was recently selected as 4th Marine Corps District’s recruiter of the year for fiscal year 2013. Roberts’ efforts throughout the year also earned him a meritorious promotion to his current rank in July 2013. He will now be competing against the top recruiters from the five other recruiting districts in the nation for the title of Marine Corps Recruiting Command’s recruiter of the year. U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Donald C. Roberts, a recruiter with Recruiting Sub-station Lakewood and a Monterey, Calif. native, was recently selected as 4th Marine Corps District’s recruiter of the year for fiscal year 2013. Roberts’ efforts throughout the year also earned him a meritorious promotion to his current rank in July 2013. He will now be competing against the top recruiters from the five other recruiting districts in the nation for the title of Marine Corps Recruiting Command’s recruiter of the year.
