Recruiting Station Ohio, based in Columbus, Ohio covers 55,000-square miles.The station is comprised of 14 substations, two officer selection stations, and two Military Entrance Processing Stations.
R.S. Ohio began as R.S. Charleston and was located in Charleston, West Virginia at the G.C. Building from 1984 to 1999. From 2000 to 2010, it was located in Teays Valley, W.Va. The station moved to its former facility in Ona, W.Va. March 2010. In June 2018 the recruiting station headquarters moved 10 West Broad Street, Columbus, and was designated R.S. Columbus. In 2024, Recruiting Station Columbus and Recruiting Station Cleveland combined due to Marine Corps Recruiting Command structure change and became Recruiting Station Ohio. The headquarters staff of 19 supports more than 90 recruiters.
