U.S. Marine Corps Poolee Dalton Morrel, a graduate of Sullivan East High School in Bluff City, Tennessee, fights for ground during a tug-of-war competition during Recruiting Station Charleston’s Statewide Function April 16, 2016. Morrel is currently aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., trying to earn the title Marine. His scheduled graduation date is July 22, 2016. The bi-annual event brought poolees from across West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky together to participate in an Initial Strength Test and compete in a field meet.
