Adam Gordon, 17, a future Marine from Strasburg, Virginia, stands with his lifeguard tube Aug. 21, 2015, at the Strasburg Town Pool in Strasburg, Virginia. Gordon saved a 16-year old boy from drowning Aug. 15, 2015, while at the pool. He is scheduled to attend recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina July 2016.
