Riley White, right, a Stafford, Virginia native and Colonial Forge High School senior, receives a $150,000 Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Marine Option Scholarship during a high school awards ceremony at Colonial Forge High School, May 28, 2015. U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Herman Davis, executive officer of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Frederick presented White with the scholarship, which will cover the cost of tuition, books, and a small living stipend. White was also valedictorian of his class, and he will be attending University of Virginia.
