Joseph Parvin, production recruiter at Marine Corps Recruiting Station Louisville, Kentucky, with a Navy Marine Corps Achievement Metal during an awards ceremony at RS Louisville headquarters April 28, 2015. According to the award citation, “Parvin obtained an impressive 186 points on the recruiting station’s battle gauge surpassing all other recruiters. During this period, Sgt. Parvin performed his duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. [His] initiative, perseverance, and total dedication to duty reflected credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Navel Service.”
