U.S Marine Corps Capt. Devin Claridy, the Officer Selection Officer for Officer Selection Station Norfolk and an Akron, Ohio native, explains the rules of a leadership exercise to Alyssa Lee, a sophomore studying mass communications at Virginia Union University, during the Marine Corps Leadership Seminar held at the Gloucester Institute in Virginia, Jan. 24, 2015. The seminar teaches Marine Corps leadership principles to college students in an effort to foster a positive image of the Marine Corps and to prepare the nation’s future leaders by imparting values and lessons learned over the Corps’ long and illustrious history.
