U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Marvin Faulcon, right, receives the Meritorious Service Medal during his retirement ceremony after 21 years of service to the Marine Corps, at Recruiting Station Richmond in Richmond Virginia, July 25, 2014. Next to him, his wife of 20 years, Connie, was recognized by RS Richmond’s Commanding Officer, Maj. Ryan Gordinier, for her outstanding support to her husband and the Corps. Faulcon, a native of Frankfurt, Germany, was a career recruiter and served as RS Richmond’s assistant recruiter instructor.
