U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Scott E. Stephan, (left), prepares to pass the flag of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Louisville signifying the change of command to Maj. Donald L. Hotchkiss at the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs June 26, 2014. Stephan served as the RS Louisville Commanding Officer since June 2011 and has overseen the contracting of 1,971 Marines. Hotchkiss comes to RS Louisville from Combat Logistics Battalion 4 in Okinawa, Japan where he served as the company commander of Motor Transport Company A and the battalion operations officer.
