Poolees from Recruiting Sub-Station Glen Burnie finish a picnic table for the Providence Center in Arnold, Md., which provides care and services for adults with developmental disabilities, April 12, 2014. The picnic tables were one part of an event in honor of U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. William T. Wild IV, a native of Severna, Md. who was killed during a training incident in Nevada March 18, 2013, and to improve the living situation for those that live at the Providence Center. The poolees are a part of the Marine Corps’ Delayed Entry Program where they are given a set amount of time to prepare before they are sent to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C. where they will try to earn the title of Marine.
