U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Christopher S. Conner, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Baltimore, shows U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Mark A. Brilakis, the commanding general of Marine Corps Recruiting Command, the Gladius sword that is given to Marines on recruiting duty as an incentive for maintaining an average of 1.75 contracts per month at Recruiting Sub-Station Columbia, Sept. 5, 2013.
