RALEIGH — Cpl. Ryan McKinley, a rifle inspector with the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, catches an M-1 Garand rifle during the platoon’s performance at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, N.C., Oct. 24, 2012. To show their appreciation for the military Ravenscroft School asked the Silent Drill Platoon to perform.
