Marines and Marine officer candidates from Officer Selection Station Columbus perform crunches, March 30, during a pool Physical Fitness Test. The group had an unexpected Easter surprise from three goslings that came out of the woods and right into their PT session. The goslings were not scared of the group and followed them from pull-up bars to crunches and to the start line of the three mile run.

Gunnery Sgt. Douglas L. McGlothlin, the staff non-commissioned officer in charge of Recruiting Sub-Station Salisbury, was recently awarded SNCOIC of the year by Marine Corps Recruiting Command. McGlothlin, a native of Waldorf, Md., has contracted and sent 141 qualified men and women to Marine Corps recruit training since he became the SNCOIC of RSS Salisbury in December 2010.
