sword symbolizes the responsibility of the welfare of all Marines appointed
under him. Wyatt reported for duty at RS Louisville after completing a tour
as the First Sergeant of Drill Instructor School at Marine Corps Recruit
Depot Parris Island. Wyatt replaced Sgt. Maj. Daniel G. Bullock who retired

Madison Goebel, a sophomore English major at the University of Delaware, is currently enrolled in the Marine Corps’ Platoon Leaders Class and completed her first six-week session this past summer. The PLC program consists of two paid six-week internship sessions or a single 10-week session at the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. Upon successful completion of all academic requirements at their university and Officer Candidates School, students may commission as second lieutenants in the United States Marine Corps.
