Maj. Joshua C. Daniels

Major Daniels is from Long Beach, CA. He reported to Officer Candidate School in July 2014. After graduation from OCS he returned
to the University of Southern California and completed his B.A. in Psychology. Upon graduation from USC he reported to The Basic
School in July 2015.


After completion of The Basic School, Major Daniels reported to Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course (USA) at Ft. Sill,
Oklahoma. He graduated from Ft. Sill and completed Joint Fires Observer and Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course (USMC) in
June 2016. Upon completion of MOS school in July 2016, Major Daniels reported to 5th Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment at Camp
Pendleton, CA.


Upon check in to 5th Bn, 11th Marines, he was assigned as a Platoon Commander and Fire Direction Officer for Battery T, 5/11. He
assumed the duties as the Bn Adjutant due to manpower shortfalls and executed those duties from July through November 2016. After
which, he was assigned as the Headquarters Battery Executive Officer from November 2016, to March 2017. Major Daniels was then
assigned to Battery Q in March 2017, as a Platoon Commander and Platoon Fire Direction Officer for 2nd Platoon, Battery Q. He
deployed with Battery Q on the Unit Deployment Program - Pacific to 3d Bn, 12th Marines, from May to November 2017.

Upon redeployment, Major Daniels was assigned to Fire Support Control Center, 2d Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment and attached to
Company F, 2d Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment as the Company Fire Support Officer. He deployed with Company F on the 31st
Marine Expeditionary Unit from May to November 2018. Upon redeployment, Major Daniels was assigned as the Battalion Fire
Support Officer for 2d Bn, 5th Marines.


In June 2019, Major Daniels executed orders to Recruiting Station Louisville, KY, and was assigned as the Operations Officer. He
served as the Operations Officer until May 2019, at which time he became the Executive Officer for Recruiting Station Louisville until
the completion of his tour in June 2022. At which time he reported to 2d Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune, NC.
Upon reporting to 2d Battalion, 10th Marines, Major Daniels served as the Battalion Assistant Fires Plans Officer. In December 2022,
Major Daniels took command of Battery G, 2d Battalion, 10th Marines. He relinquished command of Battery G at the end of January
2024. He then assumed the duties of the Battalion Assistant Operations Officer until executing orders to 4th Marine Corps Recruiting
District in July 2024.


Major Daniels assumed the duties as Recruiting Station Commanding Officer, RS Louisville, KY, in September 2024.
Major Daniels' personal decorations include: (2) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps
Achievement Medal, and the Marine Corps Recruiting Ribbon.
