Sergeant Major Lowe graduated Canfield High School in 2003 and reported to MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina, for recruit training. After earning the primary MOS of 0311, he proceeded to his first assignment at Marine Barracks 8th and I, Washington DC. There he was assigned as a ceremonial marcher and was promoted to Corporal.
 
In November of 2005, Sergeant Major Lowe received orders to Third Battalion Fourth Marines, First Marine Division. From September 2006 until May 2007 he was deployed in support of OIF to Husaybah, Iraq and served as a Section Leader, Mobile Assault Platoon, Company K and was promoted to Sergeant. From 2007 through 2011 Sergeant Major Lowe volunteered for assignment at the School of Infantry East, for combat instructor duty. Sergeant Major Lowe served in Infantry Training Battalion as a Combat Instructor, Platoon Commander, and Tactics Instructor Group Chief.
 
Sergeant Major Lowe was assigned to First Battalion, Sixth Marines, Second Marine Division from April 2011 through December 2014. He deployed in support of OEF to KES/ BDQ from July 2011 to January 2012 as a Platoon Sergeant. After deploying as the Company Gunnery Sergeant for Company C, aboard the USS GUNSTON-HALL with the 22nd MEU from January to October of 2014, Sergeant Major Lowe received orders to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron MCAS Cherry Point, where he served as the officer in charge of the station small arms range complex. 
 
In 2016 Sergeant Major Lowe was serving as the Assistant Operations Chief at Expeditionary Operations Training Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, where he was selected to First Sergeant. Sergeant Major Lowe was assigned to First Law Enforcement Battalion, First Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.  He participated in the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force in support of the Border Patrol Mission. In 2019, Sergeant Major Lowe received orders to Fifth Battalion, Eleventh Marines, First Marine Division where he served as the Battery First Sergeant for Battery S. Sergeant Major Lowe was deployed as part of a 1st Marine Expeditionary Force task force aboard the USS COMSTOCK from June to November 2020. Upon selection to his current rank, Sergeant Major Lowe received orders to Recruiting Station Lansing, MI.
 
Sergeant Major Lowe's personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with 1 silver star, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with 1 gold star, and a Combat Action Ribbon.
