Grace Marinaro is presented her invitation to the exclusive Battles Won Academy during Bishop O’ Connell High School’s awards ceremony in Arlington, Virginia, May 31, 2017. Marinaro, from McLean, Virginia, was one of 96 high school students from across the nation who was selected as a 2017 Semper Fidelis All-American. Marinaro, like many others, was selected because of her fighting spirit, academic and athletic success while being a positive force in her community.
