Recruiting Station Frederick’s Recruiting Sub-Station Leesburg took first place out of ten teams during the annual pool function in Frederick, Md. April 12, 2014. Each poolee received a personal award along with a team trophy to be displayed at RSS Leesburg, Leesburg, Va. The pool function was held to build camaraderie and the physical fitness of the poolees before they attend recruit training. Each poolee is in the Delayed Entry Program where they have a specific amount of time to wait before they go to recruit training and try their hand at becoming a U.S. Marine.
