A female member of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Richmond’s delayed entry program is motivated during the run portion of the initial strength test by Sgt. Maj. David Eldridge, Recruiting Station Richmond’s sergeant major, and Cpl. Kansas Ledezma, Recruiting Station Richmond’s administration clerk, and a native of Buckhannon, West Virginia, during the station’s annual female pool function. The event gave the female poolees an opportunity to learn what they can expect aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, as they undergo the longest and most difficult boot camp within the U.S. armed services to earn the coveted title of United States Marine.
